Thursday 12 Feb 2009 – At the invitation of the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS), Leonard Drake Skincare & Health Spa presented a complimentary Averine make-up workshop for its staff at Revenue House (Multi-Purpose Hall). Titled "Natural Corporate Image with Averine Colours!" , the workshop introduced the women to the professional skin caring make-up line - Averine, and provided an insight to creating a natural yet professional corporate image for the office and everyday.

Leonard Drake's official Averine Make-Up Trainer, Ms Amy Lim humoured the audience with anecdotes on common make-up disasters women experience, and revealed to them the key best kept secrets in make-up techniques. These included tips on using powder, liquid or cream foundations; defining the eyes for single or hidden double eyelids; eyebrow shaping to compliment the eyes and facial features; eye shadow application; contouring the face shape with blusher; and lip liner, lipstick, plus lip gloss for hot lips!

A lucky workshop participant got to be a 'live' model and enjoyed the process of being professionally made-up with Amy's skilful hands. Amy Lim has worked on the faces of many models for fashion editorials spreads, TV commercials, and local and international celebrities.

The workshop ended with many participants purchasing Averine skincare cosmetics and signing up for Leonard Drake's Averine Make-Up classes.
