Saturday 19 Apr 2008  Leonard Drake Skincare & Health Spa collaborated with Singhealth s Signature Women s Forum 2008 themed,  Fabulous From 40 . Three workshop sessions were held at Sheraton Towers hotel to introduce the women to the professional skin caring make-up  Averine that does not clog pores.

Leonard Drake s official Averine Make-Up Trainer, Ms Amy Lim began by explaining the philosophy and concept behind Averine Paris Skincare Cosmetics. The 57 guests learned about the harmful ingredients in the cosmetics industry that cause consumers skin problems such as acne, pigmentation, milia seeds, stained skin, dry skin, or allergies.

The ladies also got a chance to witness a  live demonstration by Amy of a fresh Day Make-Up look, created by using Averine. Step-by-step, make-up techniques were shared  including tips on using powder, liquid or cream foundations; defining the eyes for single or hidden double eyelids; eyebrow shaping to compliment the eyes and facial features; eye shadow application; contouring the face shape with blusher; and lip liner, lipstick, plus lip gloss for sexy lips!

Each session saw one lucky participant who got her face made-up on the spot by the skilful artistry of Amy (who has worked on the faces of many models for fashion editorials spreads, TV commercials, and local and international celebrities). The result  a fresher, natural look for the day!

The guests, comprising of professional women from all walks of life received an exclusive letter allowing them to book for an Averine personal make-up class (hands-on) at only $20, instead of the usual price of $80. They were also introduced briefly to the Leonard Drake Averine Make-Up Club. Enthusiastic participants started making enquiries on the next available classes and the Make-Up Club immediately after the workshop ended.
