Sat 19 Aug 2006 - Dermalogica's NEW product called PreCleanse was the topic of interest and key address at an exclusive afternoon workshop entitled "How Clean Is Your Skin" (held at the Amara Hotel, Ballroom 1, Level 3).

Guest speaker, Ms Leanne Rigney, who is the Divisional Education Manager for the International Dermal Institute and Dermalogica spoke about the importance of achieving ultra-clean and healthy skin with a double cleansing regimen - yet using an effective pre-cleanser that will not harm the skin.

The enthusiastic audience got to see how PreCleanse (a plant-based cleansing oil, fortified with Olive and Kukui oils) can melt layers of excess sebum, sunscreen, waterproof make-up, environmental pollutants and residual skin products that build-up during the day.

Guests were amazed when they saw through a facial demonstration how when water is added to PreCleanse on the skin, it transforms the hydrophilic (water-loving) formula into a milky emulsion, easily rinsing away oil-based debris from the skin's surface - allowing any recommended Dermalogica Cleanser to penetrate even further for professional cleansing results.

The mix of Leonard Drake members and new customers also learned that PreCleanse is formulated with conditioning Rice Bran and Vitamin E oils, making it a gentle blend that can be used around the eye area to even remove waterproof mascara.

A PreCleanse Game was conducted whereby two eager participants at the workshop had to each clean a mirror using PreCleanse. The participants completed the tasks and walked away smiling with an exclusive Leonard Drake gift.
