Love In Relationships, Grooming & Skincare
(23 September 2006, Meritus Mandarin Hotel, ACT 1, 35th Floor, Grand Tower)
Sat 23 Sep 2006 - The arena-like setting of ACT 1, 35th floor of the Meritus Mandarin Hotel's Grand Tower was the venue of choice for Leonard Drake's first-ever seminar titled "Love In Relationships, Grooming & Skincare". The audience got a refreshing perspective of how Leonard Drake is at the forefront of the aesthetics industry, whereby the company not only cares for the skin health of customers, but the overall image and social happiness of individuals. Hence, a collaboration with other speakers who shared with the audience relevant tips to enhance their self-confidence and interpersonal relationships.
The seminar kicked off with emcee Simon Lim introducing the audience to the Leonard Drake Experience via a showcase of the company's corporate video, and then a lead-in to the first speaker for the afternoon, Karin Boo, Technical Manager for Leonard Drake Singapore. Ms Boo gave a concise insight to Face MappingSM, including a 'live' demonstration on a participant at the seminar. This interest the audience so much so that they took to trying out the free Face MappingSM sessions offered by many of Leonard Drake's skincare therapists who were present. Guests were indeed intrigued and surprised to learn how Face MappingSM is linked to bodily functions.
The second speaker, Joshua Luke, Mr Singapore 1999 and a Chief Executive Coach spoke about the importance of exercising "Love Etiquette" in relationships. He mentioned about how women could get a man's attention through effective body language albeit a natural and gradual process. Useful advice on how to win someone's trust was also shared with personal anecdotes that got the audience tickled and eager to find out more. With his winsome smile and amiable nature, Joshua Luke easily charmed the guests.
The enthusiastic audience later got the chance to meet Miss Singapore Universe 2003, Bernice Wong - a professional image consultant who runs Bernice Wong Beauty International. Looking stunning and beautiful as ever, Ms Wong inspired the audience with ideas on how to dress well by finding the best individual style. Through her topic "Love Your Style", Bernice got participants to identify colours that would best suit their skin tone and clothes that would best enhance their body shape. One brave guest even took to the catwalk with the 6-feet tall beauty queen - in good sport and fun! NHK Japan TV's "Most Cool Guy" winner was also present as a guest male model.
Amidst a delicious spread of snacks including seafood and spinach quiche, mutton curry puffs and pan-fried Shanghai dumplings with tea/coffee from the Meritus Mandarin Hotel, the guests enjoyed exclusive promotional offers on Leonard Drake's Love Rewards Membership packages.
